About Amber Luckey
Amber Luckey has 17+ years of experience in facilities/construction and project management, budget management, and code compliance with Fortune 500 companies and nonprofit organizations. She is known for her integrity and assertive leadership with HR compliance, following project timelines and company policies while handling complex multi-million-dollar projects. Amber is an active member in Grand Prairie and also serves on the Grand Prairie Library Board. She recently completed the League of Conservation Voters candidate training brought by Shanthi Gonzales and Mayor Pro Tem Steve "Junior" Ezeonu (Climate Cabinet). Amber is passionate about youth empowerment, teaching students how to apply for scholarships and a self-proclaimed Special Needs Advocate. She is a proud parent of a young son with disabilities and an adult daughter who graduated from Stanford University with dual degrees.

Amber believes deeply in Grand Prairie’s potential and is committed to helping the city continue to grow and thrive. Her priority is to listen—to actively seek out the voices of residents and ensure their concerns and ideas guide the decisions shaping the community’s future.
As a mother advocating for her son and other children with special needs, including autism, she understands how vital it is for families to have access to meaningful support and resources. This experience drives her passion for creating a city where every family feels seen, supported, and empowered.
